from 13th nov 2007 |
| Simec, Veolia,
Newalta and Sani-Manic joined together during 2 days for
a course on the drilling of a tanker MC306. The hands-on
training included the characteristics of a gasoline tanker,
grounding and bounding, the drilling of the tanker and
the transfering of gasoline with various types of pumps. |

of Candiac-Delson called upon the North-American Emergency
Training Center in order to perfect knowledge of its HAZMAT
technicians
about chlorine. The day of practice consisted of a review
of the properties of chlorine, the installation of
A-B
and C kits and a scenario
of caping a leak on a chlorine tank car valve. |

Fire Department - News

| The Fire Department
of Rosemère dispatched its Hazmat Technicians at
the North-American Emergency Training Center for one day,
to practice diferent scenarios including; a review of the
chlorine B-C kits, a chemical spill in a dry box and the
caping of a leak on a chlorine tank car valve. |

40 hour course intended for Response Team members. This

and IPIQ- News from 24th
may 2007 |
| This year, IPIQ
trained at the North-American training Center during ten
days. The students completed their anual Hazmat training
benefitting from the installations and equipment of the
CN-A. A very nice exchange. |

transfer- News from 24th
march 2007 |
| The CN-A carried
out a transfer of propane from a tanker to another. At
the request of Transport Canada, the CN-A realized a transfer
of propane with the flaring of vapors and liquid. The whole
proceeded successfully, in the presence of TC, Pétromont,
Propane 2000 and Newalta. |

space and SCBA training unit- News

| The CN-A adquiert
the mobile confined space and respiratory protection training
unit. This unit has many vertical and horizontal entries
on two floor levels. Mobile partitions and the numerous
confined space configuration options available allow a
large number of practical scenarios. It can be brought
at your site. |
